Bracelets: How to measure your wrist?

To find the bracelet that perfectly fits your wrist, here's a simple and accurate method to follow at home:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use:

  • A flexible (sewing) tape measure,

or

  • A strip of paper or ribbon, and a ruler.

Measure your wrist:

Wrap the tape measure around your wrist, just below the wrist bone (where you would naturally wear your bracelet).

If you are using a strip of paper, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler.

Note the measurement: this is your exact wrist circumference, without margin.

Add a margin for comfort:

  • + 1 to 1.5 cm for a classic fit (neither too tight nor too loose)

  • + 2 cm or more if you prefer a looser fit, or for a cuff/rigid bracelet

  • No margin if the bracelet is elastic or adjustable

A well-fitting bracelet is the final touch that elegantly completes any outfit.

Size guide (for reference)

The average wrist size for women is 14 to 17 cm for thin wrists and 18 to 20 cm for medium wrists.

For men, the standard size is 18 cm to 21 cm and more for larger wrists.

But there is no universal rule! The best thing to do is to accurately measure your wrist circumference.
